9th Avenue Designs was founded on the belief that a thoughtfully designed outdoor space can have a profound impact on the way you experience your home.

An Independent Approach to Landscape Architecture

9th Avenue Designs is a licensed Ohio Landscape Architectural Firm. Unlike a traditional landscape design/build company, our primary focus is the design and planning of your property.

We work closely with each client to develop a comprehensive design based on their needs, priorities, architectural style, lifestyle, site conditions, and budget. Because our role begins with design rather than construction, we are able to approach each project with the client's overall vision at the forefront.

Once the design is complete, we can assist in obtaining competitive proposals from experienced, vetted landscape contractors capable of executing the project to the level the design requires.

Having qualified contractors bid from the same detailed plan creates a much clearer comparison. Scope, materials, quantities, and design intent remain consistent, allowing clients to evaluate proposals on a true “apples-to-apples” basis rather than trying to compare different designs, specifications, and construction approaches.

We can also remain involved throughout the construction process, helping answer design questions, review details, and protect the intent of the original design as the project moves from paper to reality.
